Poisonous snakes introduced to kill turkey eggs. True or false
I was just in Osgoode to pick up some new septic tank risers and covers. The guy owns about 20 acres there and we got to talking turkey hunting. He tells me that the numbers around his area have increased considerably from last year. He also mentioned that he heard that the province has introduced a poisonous snake that thrives on turkey eggs and eggs of duck and geese as well. Never heard of this myself. Has anyone heard anything similar or is this just <%#% talk. If this is true why are they not just increasing our bag limits.
