    Default Visitor at work yesterday. Glad she wintered ok.

    I was sitting in the backhoe yesterday yapping on the phone. This old girl showed up and offered up a few pictures before she went on her way.

    No calf with her and she does not look like she's carrying either.
    How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

    The winter of 2013 likely is what happened to her calf.
    I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

    Lucky man! I look forward to moose season each year because my wife and I along with my two girls love moose, but I do enjoy seeing them in the off season. They are a beautiful animal to watch...
