Weekend succes

This past weekend was a weekend with a lot of memories made .
started Saturday morning,
we got to our spot at 525 and instantly got a gobble as I shut my truck door, we had 3 birds roosting in a small piece of bush about 200 yards from where I wanted to setup,
we got in and settled as day light broke I could hear numerous toms off in the distance along with the 3 rooster near by , at 546 am my one client realized he doesn't have his key for his trigger lock, it was left in the truck, at this point it's to late, luckily I had my gun. At 6 am I hear them fly down and start heading away from us. I get aggressive on the mouth call and out come a hen,
she makes her way across the field right into te decoys and starts cutting and putting, feeding a bit as well.
About 2 minutes later out comes two toms running into my Dakota jake and hen . Fan out and boom boom

After dropping the clients off I decided to meet up with my other guide and his group.
They had a bunch of toms sounding off but didn't want to play ,
second setup
we split th group of two up and decided to try another spot , instantly got 4 different gobblers to sound off, picked one and went with it , he gobbled close to 40 times but hung up on a fence row. After some back pocket tricks I was able to pull him threw te fence row and within 10 yards for a shot.

Sunday morning
we decided to head out for a fun hunt, got setup same time and only heard one gobble, a little worried I decided to stay put and wait it out , at 715 am I heard a hen sound off and shortly after pitch out of the tree into my decoys , 2 seconds later 5 long beards came running ,
dropped 2 both very nice birds.
It was a great show they put on kicking the crap out of my Dakota jake .

mall and all a great weekend out back at it this weekend.
