Wow. I didn't know Fanshawe Lake was that abundant with fish?

About 12 years ago, I took some boy scouts out for a hike, around end of April, along about 12 miles of the Thames trail along the river. The hike ended at Fanshawe Dam. The ice hadn't been off for long. Just where it starts to widen out near the dam, we witnessed a school of walleye gorging on some baitfish they had corraled near the suface. Dozens of them, most about 5 lbs. plus. I was so excited I went back a few weeks later trying to catch some. All I got was bass. I don't know where they hang out, but they're in there. It looks like Bucky knows where they are.

Thank,s not planning on fishing there but I live down river and was thinking most of the fish may be headed back to St Clair especially now that its high and muddy. We caught 3 opening day around Dutton.
