Reminder: Mandatory Reporting of Turkey Harvest
Just a little reminder to all that are successful this season.
Mandatory Reporting of Turkey Harvest
Successful turkey hunters must report their harvested turkey by calling toll-free 1-800-288-1155 and providing the requested harvest information no later than 12:00 noon the day after the bird was harvested.
An information worksheet is provided on page 33 of the 2013 Hunting Regulations or online at http://bit.ly/17XvpnO to assist you in gathering the necessary information before calling to report your harvest.
Once you complete your harvest report, you will be provided with a confirmation number. Record the confirmation number and keep it as a record that you have reported.

Well, it looks like I was 4 hours late, thinking that I have 24 hours. Any fines for (somewhat) late harvest reporting?

You should get an MNRF patch for reporting your harvest
Maybe it would make more people likely to do it.
Has harvest reporting always been a requirement to hunt wild turkey since its reintroduction?

YES...in fact originnally you had to take it to a weight in station and have it logged in.

Harvest amounts have dropped the last 4 years this would be the smartest thing to do. Dropped it for deer for sure what they are waiting for turkey.

As long as it's not across the board and it's WMU specific/tailored, Eastern Ont is having no problems supporting the 2 bird limit, but it sounds like there may be MWU's in the S/W side of the province that may be struggling.
