    Thanks intothedeep.
The cedar tea was used because its
just part of the bush experience. (tastes pretty good too)
It is high in vit c like you say. I also supplement with pill form.

Well done and great report. Love the set up and your gear. I can tell you don't cheap on anything by the Arcteryx pants you are wearing in one of the photos.
The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

    Thanks Species8472.
ha, i do try to buy quality, but sometimes
i wear/use stuff well past its functionality date
    interesting story on the arcteryx...
the previous pair of my goretex
was disintegrating. disheartened, i just kep wearing it
until id heard gore stands by their gear. sent it back
and they replaced it. never would have been able to
buy new stuff. must say i was very impressed with their
service. wish id was more proactive with my 9 yr ole hiking boots.
my cheapness my have led to an injured foot.
while cleaning my boots from a trip id noticed a large
triangular hole in the heel. which led me to repairing them
with Freesole and utilizing some other interesting techniques to keep em
goin i finally bucked up and ordered a new pair.
