    Thanks, I look into that.....

Old apple orchards are great for morels, and I'm willing to bet there are lot's of steel-headers that walk right past 'em. FYI stay away from golf courses (poison).
Why do I buy 10 pounds of minnows to catch 3 pounds of fish?

Found about a dozen on Sunday. They were all very small, which tells me we were a bit early. However I read that michigan is having an awesome year for morels due to the wet weather, so I'm hoping for the same here

I've found them in old apple orchards as well. These are from Monday.

Found my first batch. Found them about 5 feet from the edge of a field and they were all around a up rooted tree.
