These are the poppers I'll be using this bass season. I still have two more to finish with weed guards.

Newbie, what type of foam ,do you use. Is it fairly dense, so you can shape it. I used to have a popper , probably balsa, with feathers . pike and bass loved it. can you get foam at a craft store, Looking good old 243

I buy the kits at Bass Pro, they are called Perfect Poppers and come in a wide variety of styles. I buy one kit of each and take my time tying them. I do sand and prep them a little before I make them, but I don't change the shape much, but with a file or sander I guess one could change the shape. The only thing I buy from the craft stores every now and then are the plastic containers to store them in, like the one you see here and small tube's of epoxy. I hope this helped. NOTF

LOL! I only need her to be with me for when I am buying it. But I have been known to have borrowed a colour here and there and got caught only because I forgot to put them back where I had found them. She still has a bigger collection..for now. NOTF
