Great muzzleloader and even has an adjustable trigger. I believe cva makes a great ml. I just shoot Blackhorn 209 period.

Ya trigger's adjustable from super sloppy to just sloppy

Default I bought a Accura MR Nitride. My first experience with CVA products.

First let me put my post from a different site:
    http://www.modernmuzzleloader.com/fo...24964&start=25

Look at my first post from May 28th (First gun with pictures).

Then look at my post on the next page (Second gun, Replacement gun with pictures).

They are selling TOTAL JUNK for $600.00...

PS The bergara barrels are beautifully made and finished but they hook onto a piece of JUNK...

Bought a CVA Optima last year at BPS for $444.00 CDN. That was the gun, a scope, patches, bullet starter, cleaning solvent and 20 bullets. Got it sighted in the first time with just half a dozen shots. I then zero it in with the set I was going to hunt with.

That November my Son took his first (a buck) at 50 yards. The deer bolted for 50 yards and hit the ground.

We're using 295 gr Solid Copper Power Belt bullets, 100 gr (2 pellets) White Hots and Remington Primers. I'm quite pleased with this set up.

The Accura and Apex are nice guns and they offer multiple barrel combo's.

    How that helps.

I bought a CVA Kodiak back in 2002. Like it. Shot a lot of deer with it. Some out to 200 yds. Have shot cloverleafs at 100 yds. Picked up an Accura V2 this month and am liking it better so far. A little lighter and stainless. Easier to clean. Haven't worked on the long shots yet.
