70 hp Johnson motor trouble
Finally got my boat out tonight and it started up alright but as soon as I engaged it to reverse or forward it woild stall out.. it has fresh gas and oil and ran great before ot was serviced last fall.. anyone have any ideas for me

That may be your answer right there. First thing I'd do is return it to the shop and insist on immediate service. Good luck with it.

Usually servicing a outboard just means getting it ready for winter. It could be all carboned up. Carb could be very dirty. Servicing just means they get it ready for winter, drain any water, new oil if it requires it, oil all parts.

Fresh gas is a good start but if there's any old gas left in the carb or gas line from last year that can be your problem. Get some carb cleaner put through the system and see if that helps.

More than likely a fuel issue (getting fuel)
Had same problem with mine last year, idle no problem, low speed no problem, try and go any faster and it stall out and die. Mine was a clogged pickup in the fuel take, check your system from tank to end of hose that plugs into the motor if you're getting fuel no problem all the way through (put a screwdriver, or nail into the end of the hose to push the ball back and prime the bulb)
Then it's probably something as simple as a carb job / adjustment.

Thanks I have lots of fuel flow so I may run some sea foam through it then go from there
