    Then again, there's a reason why those cartridges have been the tried and true chamberings for as long as they have.

    When Ruger released the American Rifle, it was only chambered in .243, .308, .270, and 30-06. The reasoning was that those were still the most popular chamberings in North America.
    "Camo" is perfectly acceptable as a favorite colour.

    The only place you will see a difference between 270wsm and 270win is past 300 yards.

    Just don't buy a ammo at crappy tire... $31,for super x in 270... I almost fainted at that price... (Twice what I pay at sail/Lebarons)

    We have 2 270 in our hunt camp and one 270wsm. Honestly, they are both great calibers. Many deer and moose have been taken with the 270. A cow with the 270 wsm. I've shot them both. If you can hold a gun and have any muscles, don't worry about recoil with these 2 calibers. Ammo will be expensive buying premium. I'm the guy that can't buy cheap ammo. But I'm that guy. The 270 is a caliber I don't have because of my 280. rem. But if I didn't have this beauty, 270 would be a contender.
