Foote Lake - Novar, ON
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone could provide any general information on this lake. I can't seem to find anything on it. Only thing I can find is that there is smallmouth in it.
Any other species on this lake or any other nearby lakes that may offer other species - lake trout, walleye.
Thanks,
Neto

Has too much time on their hands
Funny you mention this lake... My Neighbor told me yesterday he is very close to buying a cottage on it. Can't tell ya much about it but he says there is small and largemouth also Pike, Perch and some other pan fish.
Good luck,

I used to own some land on Savage Settlement Rd. and fished Foote Lake with poor results. If you look to the South on yer map you will see Oudaze Lake which has Bass as well and also Fish Lake which has a population of Specks. Also some big Bass have been taken out of Mirage Lake in the past but I think it is mostly pan fish now..............................Boog

Fished Foote Lake
Well, we got out to foote lake with the family. Spent most of our time playing with the kids. Daughter - 3, niece - 3 and son - 14 months. They kept us pretty busy. Managed to do a bit of fishing. Caught some smallmouth, pike and rock bass. Caught our biggest bass and pike of the dock with the kids. Nothing too big, about 3 lb bass and 6 lb pike. Apparently there are some big pike in the lake. Neighbours caught a 40 incher off the dock the previous weekend
Thnx for the info guys
