Ah, ok. Just curious. Sometimes you can find after market accessories that add some weight to the gun, like mercury stock weights or weighted mag caps. That'll help if you ever decide to tame it a bit.

hardcore - glad your wife likes the gun but the extra recoil is why I didn’t go w an inertia gun for my daughter just a little too much kick, not a big deal for men with the muscle mass but when a lady weighs less than 100lb soaking wet recoil can really impact them. I picked up a used weatherby 20 ga semi for a gr8 price, put a youth but stock on it and we are good to go, if she really gets into shooting I will upgrade to a B gun but didn’t want to invest over 1K when she is starting out. The weatherby points great and breaks clays, my daughter has shot it a few times so far but we will get a little more serious in the fall (when fishing season slows dn…..)

I bought the Mossberg SA-20 ( same gun) for just the same reasons.
"Camo" is perfectly acceptable as a favorite colour.

new I think a weatherby/moss is 599, mine was much less than that and came w/ sk, ic and mod ext chokes. I have seen a few people shoot them and they seem a good value. I think they are made in turkey, the drawback I hear is they need to be clean, unlike a beretta I usually shoot, I clean it 2x a yr
