    Anyone know how the fishing is in grand River where is passes threw Cambridge?

    Lots of smaller Bass and small pike.
    Also in the speed at riverside there are some nice monster carp (also in grand near main st bridge).

    For some lunker smallys head to glen morris.

    I often put in my kayak at the Glen Morris bridge and go downstream to the dam in Paris. I do very well for numbers, with many 50-75 fish days on a simple spinner bait. Almost all small Smallmouths. But I have hit few lunkers there. I find between Cambridge and Glen Morris takes less fishing pressure and produces more deep pockets and large fish. Just my 2 cents though. But the ride down from Glen Morris is nice and takes about 4 hours, which is why I continue to do it. It is 4 rare hours without my dad/husband responsibilities, as my guys are not quite old enough for it yet. But soon enough
