Has too much time on their hands
Need some transducer adapter help.....
So long story short I have a US1 generation Minn Kota Maxuum 74 lb thrust trolling motor and I'm trying to
use it's built in transducer to run with my X67C Lowrance as a second fishfinder.
I purchased a MKR US2-9 adapter which I was told would work at BPS...well it doesn't....different connector at the trolling motor.
Seems my older Minn Kota is supposed to use a MKR US-9 (hard to find now), when I look at the images of this adapter online
it doesn't have a seperate positive negative lead for the battery hookup.
Does this mean it runs off the trolling motor batteries...or is it the wrong one altogether.
I've asked a few on here already but would like to put it out there for anyone else that may have some info for me.
I know I can buy a trolling motor mount transducer but would kinda like to use the built in one...there must be
something out there!!!!!!Atleast I hope there is.
Thx in advance.....

They actually told me there is no adapter available. I figure if there is a connector on the trolling motor there
must be something out there that will work. I'm sure I will have to buy it online but if someone has been through
this before the part number would be sure to help.
Thx RB

Yes, that is the new style for the US2, it fits into my x67c no problem but the connector to attach it to my Minn Kota is
different. The US2 has a steel end and the US1(which is the one I need) has a totally differrent plastic connector.
They both however fit on the x67c connection.

I will post results when this is figured out. Through the help of Captain Cotton it is looking like the adaptor "MRK US 5" may do the trick. Looks (through pics) like the connectors are the same. I will let all know if it works!!
Thx for the help CC.
