No hurry for WMU 80. They'll still be selling them in November.

Question about additional tags. So I applied for one additional and 87 only happens to have the option of buying one more additional in phone or internet period. There were a total of 1100 additional deer seals available. After august 1 any remaining deer seals go to service ontario. Will I be able to buy one more if there are any additional seals left after August 1. When you read the guide it does clearly state this. Not sure.

Looking at the table there is only one additional per hunter for 87 bow-only. So if you already applied over phone/internet and were successful than you are done for additionals in 87 where the bow-only hunts are concerned.

Looking at the controlled hunt there are additionals available for the various sub-units of 87. If any of these are available and you previously applied for and succeed in getting a controlled seal than starting on October 15 you can purchase one of these seals - but they will only be valid during the controlled hunt.

Well online right off this morning and 0 additional. For 74b? Wasn't even listed but was in the mailout. About 10 by the time I got through by phone and just said none available. Did anyone get an extra in this area?

If it was on the mailer but not on the internet list than that means they were all sold by the time you looked. Once a WMU sells out it gets removed from the internet listing.

I know of 3 people that got 74b tags. And a great tag they are, any deer, any season.

Why on earth do you apply for a doe tag if you have no intention of killing a doe? There are plently of us who are strictly meat hunters who often rely on what is often a very limited number of doe tags to help fill the freezer. If you are drawing a doe tag with no intention of ever using it you are taking away an opportunity from someone who would.
