Bear baiting
I have never bear hunted before and I'm going to give it a try this year. Looking for advice on what...in your experiences....are the best thing to use for bait! I read the article in the new OOD. It didn't give too many ideas fr actual bait. I know people use doughnuts, dog food, popcorn, koolaid, fryer grease...just looking for some good advice. Any help would be appreciated

Just search on here, this topic is covered in great detail yearly, and there is already a ton of great information, pictures, etc posted.
Start stock piling whatever you're going to feed them now, hit the local reasturants and ask for the old grease it works wonders. I just use dog foot drump it into a bucket, give it a good douse of syrup, a few shakes of Kool-Aid powder and mix with shovel, dump into barrel.
Good luck.

It's funny how things are "hit and miss" in differen't areas, bears wouldn't go near the oats here. switched back to dog food and it was a free for a ll.

Just use whatever you can get for cheap or free. Pour some used cooking oil or even molasses and you're good to go.
