Road salt? I've never used a salt lick before, do you think road salt would work well, and what time of year would you think is best to put it out?

Salt is salt basically, and they will use salt mostly in the summer. You won't find they will lick salt as much in the fall but still will now and then. They need a certain amount anytime of year, like cattle or other livestock
