Fishing on SML has been good this season. Pike, bass, crappie and walleye all biting. This weekend will be busy on the water with the annual Regatta and fireworks show on Saturday.

To expand on my previous post: I have been doing a lot of trolling in the main basins and have done alright with the walleye, best being well over 30". Pike have been hitting jakes, spoons and mepps along the weed lines. Have not tried for catfish yet this season and have not herd of many being caught but they are there.
PM me if you need more info re: SML

12volt how was fishing on SML? We managed to catch a 2 pound 16 inch smallmouth bass and a 30 inch pike. We also had something straighten out a 3/0 hook tipped with a worm. I wonder what it was? We didn't put many hours in so we were happy with our fishing time.

12volt, there are a couple launches to choose from. Six Mile Lake Marina, Wawautosa Trading Post, Government launch off of Crooked Bay road, SML Provincial Park. PM me if you need further information about the lake. I have been cottaging there for 28 years.
