Nice fish GLP. Sweet tip on the mini crank! Why not

Mmmmmmm. Good eats. After my big brother claimed rights to my Dad's 300 I figured that if I wanted one I needed to keep my eye out. I managed to find one a while back at a garage sale in Buckhorn. They are a classic.

How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Thanks for sharing Pete - I have a lot of old fishing stuff dating from the late 40s and early 50s - I don't use it - just keep it -

I have a Mitchell 300 that was my fathers before me, it was old when I was a youngster so its gotta be over 50 years, likely more, holds more memories than an album.

Great Fish Pete, good eater no doubt...

My Uncles 300 is still on his fishing rod he willed to me, the tip got busted in 1994 (during house move) and I had it replaced $$$ fiberglass rod. Each year that rod comes out during the annual mens fishing trip and everyone has to catch a fish in memory of Uncle Art. Priceless...
