If hunting deer with a bow maybe wear a vest into your hunting stand, then put it in your bag. When you head out put the vest back on, this way you are not confused for anything else moving.

I agree on the small game, I wear hunter orange when going small game hunting, you never know who may be out there. For deer hunting with the bow I do not. Nothing says you cannot wear it if you feel that you want to wear it.

agree 100% wear orange going too and from your stand and take it off it you want and hang it on a hook above you or put in a pack. And always wear it when hunting small game, can never be to safe when tramping thru the bush chasing quick moving game with another gunner mere feet away ready to shot at a fleeing rabbit or bird throu the brambles.
