Balisong in the Hunting Annual

I was just reading the OOD Hunting Annual this morning and looking at the knife article they have a balisong pictured. I was always under the impression balisongs or butterfly knives were prohibited as they are classified as gravity or centrifugal knives. I looked up the manufactuers website and indeed they call it a butterfly knife.

Have I been misinformed and are these not prohib in Canada?

I picked up on that, too. They are in fact prohibited in Canada, but there are some made that can't be opened with one hand by centrifugal force, and possibly that's what's shown in the photo.
