FYI Fingal Pheasants
FYI, I just received word from the chairperson of the Elgin Stewardship Council that they will be releasing pheasants at Fingal PWA this season. I never thought to ask how many though.

Their site says 200 each year but that's all I have to go on.

The management plan calls for up to 250 annually.

That's about 30 birds a week, not to bad.

That's what I was thinking, 200 -250. I'm out of the pheasant hunt though. My Britt has orthopedic issues (arthritis in a foreleg, ligament reconstruction in a hind leg) so for her Fingal is where we go for an occasional walk now. If I bag a bird it will be a fluke taken during a small game hunt.

FYI Fingal Pheasants
There's no birds at fingal in fact that place doesn't exist and don't even try to find the place it's the Bermuda triangle of southern Ontario.
