4 stroke problem
My friend bought a new 75hp merc tiller. When he changed the oil for the first time there was water in it. Hecalled the dealer, they said its probaly the head gasket don,t worry.
He then changed it again a few weeks later and found water again. He brought it in to dealer, they said they can not find the problem. Then the mechanic asked him if he was trolling with it, he said sometimes. NOW listen to what the mechanic said, he said he had condensation inside because he did not warm up the motor enough before hand.
Could this really be the problem, i think not. True or false.

Depending entirely on how long he was trolling for. I would guess it wasn't five minutes. Even at an idle an engine will warm up enough to get rid of any moisture build up. I would think theres a bigger issue at hand.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

i would think if it was condensation the amount of water that mixed with the engine oil would be minimal. if u can pressurize the system and listen thru the oil filler u should hear the leak.
