Has too much time on their hands
Fishing with my granddaughter
My granddaughter was up visiting this past week. We spent most of the time swimming but she still managed to catch 149 fish in 5 days. Mostly little rock bass, sunfish, perch but she did catch a few good sized smallmouths. The bass in the photo has to be the tiniest smallmouth ever caught on hook and line!

Nice, my granddaughter turned 4 this past year and went fishing with her Dad when they were camping, caught several small fish and was thrilled to death, pictures had me smiling ear to ear for hours.

Awesome pictures Pete! Those smiles say it all, and I'm sure yours was just as big behind the camera.

That's a terrific way to spend time with your granddaughter. Well done Pete!
And she thinks we’re just fishin’ on the riverside, throwin’ back what we could fry. Drownin’ worms and killin’ time, nothin’ too ambitious.

Doesn't get any better than fishing with grandchildren - I got 15 of them - half boys and half girls - have taken all the boys except one fishing with me so far - really get close to them when we fish and camp together - the only problem - you turn around and they are all grown up and going to college or working and you have to go fishing by yourself - best wishes Pete -

You are very fortunate to share your love of the outdoors with your grandchildren. In the future I hope to be able to have similar experiences.

Awesome GLP. Memories for life, for everyone.
In the slanting sun of late afternoon the shadows of great branches reached from across the river, and the trees took the river in their arms
