Sickening isn't it! It's the leftist media and the school system that's to blame.

My own granddaughter has been brainwashed by her teachers into being anti-gun/anti-hunting and I'm having a hard time to re-educate her. We were fishing on the Bonnechere last week and someone in the distance was target shooting and she started to freak out. It's sad!

Ya.. Same with my eldest daughter.. She told me she doesn't want to shoot because she's scared of guns.. When I asked her why she said.. "Because guns kill people...." In response I said well my guns must broken.. As mine have not killed anyone..

Reminds me of this, people who think Steven Spielberg hunts dinosaurs. Remember, these people are allowed to vote.

A lot of people on Facebook didn't think it was a joke.

The post went viral with 32,000 shares and 5,700 comments, which varied from people in on the joke and many others who may not have been.
"That's Steven Spielberg, director of Jurassic Park!" one commenter wrote. This got a response of "I dont care who he is he should have not shot that animal."
Other commenters called Spielberg "inhumane" and "disgusting" and proclaimed they'd never watch his movies again because he's an "animal killer."

That's the scariest thing of all. People who live in the urban environment (sez here: "citiots) were never exposed to outdoor life,so,all they know is the bull shyte other people feed them. They haven't the intelligence to discern fact from fiction or do their own research to,at the very least, have an informed opinion. Sad,really, that people are that gullible.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I was supposed to write this really long post about anti hunters but trimmer21 got everything right in his post. The cidiots are really gullable and base all their opinions on what other people tell them especially people they think are "smart" like teachers and parents, but these "smart" people don't have experience either and were fed BS and the stupid train just kept getting bigger as they passed along the BS to the younger generation. It also amazes me, some of the cidiots logic makes no sense like how its only cruel when you kill the animals yourself but when they are caged never see the sun and are killed and treated like crap its OK because its on a farm and that magically makes everything allright. The reality is if your gonna eat meat animals are gonna die, and I would rather eat the best free run organic meat you can get that hasn't been genetically modified from the forest and kill it and prepare it myself that way I know its lived its life in the forest not being trapped and died free and I worked to get the meat rather than have it handed to me at the super market, and I had a hell of a time doing it too.

I'm not really sure how this post flipped from a woefully uninformed women tourist to all urbanites being antis and citiots.
The demographics of Toronto show that a number somewhere around half come from somewhere else. Many of those would be coming from rural or much less urban Canada and/or countries where they fended for themselves before arrival and were exposed to guns and hunting.
It's the all or nothing attitude expressed here that will turn the undecided or not yet informed against.
I for one would prefer to be judged for my opinions rather than my postal code.

Its a higher % and a higher number overall of antis in urban areas CA in TO. Living in a rural environment, most here are neutral to hunting. If you dont hunt yourself, you either are related to someone who does, your neighbour does, or you work with someone who does. The same cannot be said for an urban area.

Its COMMON for children to be taken out of school in the fall to go on the deer hunt with dad. Many teachers come from families where hunting happens, or they themselves hunt (I myself am related to 4 teachers, all of whom hunt or are are married to to someone who does).

Once the tourists and cottagers leave central Ontario for the confines of their Toronto condos or GTA suburbs, the true nature of central Ontario shows through.

When the conversation switches to "citiots" -- yes. Toronto is nearly 1/2 of the population of Ontario. Call me sensitive if you want.
