Blackflies and mosquito protection
Okay, so it looks like i'm off to my first bear hunt this weekend. The weather calls for blackflies and mosquitos
Since scent is important, and I'm guessing there isn't any non-scented deet, what do you fellas use in the treestands?
Mosquito clothing, nets, sprays??
Let me have it..

I use a Thermacell with earth scent pads. There is really nothing you can do to be scent free. If the critters are down wind, they will smell you, regardless of what you use or don't use. At least with the Thermacell it may mask some if your scent, and you won't be eaten alive.

still enough skeeters up in these parts, but wasnt too bad in my stand... i just wear a full coat, and all they really have acess to is my face/neck... but this was a terrible year for mosquitos up here so i may just be immune to them now lol
