Hornady FPB
Anyone have experience with them? A friend bought some with his new ML but after trying to start these thing's I said use my xtp's with black sabot as I know they work. Crazy stiff trying to get in the barrel? Not sure I like that to much? Never did shoot one. Any experience out there with them?

i have used them out of my cva optima for a few years now,,i have no problem loading them and they shoot great,my son has a thompson impact and they dont shoot or load good at all out of it,,

Read good thing's about them but was just skepticle about how stiff they seemed trying to start ? Is a cva wolf. Was going to try them in my savage? Do they normally go down similar to a sabot?

i find that a once you get them down about 3 inches they slide right down and seat very easily,,i have pushed them out without firing and there is rifling marks on the bullet,,i shoot 95 grs of loose triple 7 powder with great success,no plastic buildup in the barrel either which saves some cleaning
