    Default Dog vests and boots

Hey everyone I picked up a pair of neoprene/kevlar boots for my dog last weekend. When I got them home i found that the foot was a bit too small and the leg was too loose.... I didn't bother getting a bigger size as i don't think it would stay on and at $50 I didn't want to lose them the first time out. I have been looking all over for neoprene/kevlar vests as well with no luck.

Just looking to see if/what other people use and how well they work. I'm not too concerned about my dog in the field/bush but when it comes to the water it's a different story. If anything happened to the dog I might as well not come home haha

I use the avery boaters hunting parka, mainly for the grab handles to re-load the dog, but it's good protection as well.

Never bothered with boots, can't see a dog really wanting those on.

I agree about the boots. I've had a dog cut a pad before and it takes a long time to recover but that was in the bush not in the water. So far I just take extra time checking water entry points.
