Any idea how we can confirm these idiots were charged for this? Lets push this till they are punished to the full extent, what a cheap excuse "people smoke pot", people jay walk, they speed, people do many things that are in effect illegal. Apparently this guy thinks he runs the fishery and gets to make the rules, needs a serious reality check. This is that guy the antis love to run with, we need to make sure he doesn't breed.

Absolutely disgusting. I thought they handled this situation really well. Calling the MNR and having them on the phone during the "conversation" with these idiots would have given the MNR a recorded conversation of their "justification" for illegal activity.

I called a few years back about a guy that was targeting bass out of season. When I went to the parking lot to call in his license plate number he ran up to telling me to get away from his vehicle(I was standing 30 or 40 feet from it) and confronted me and the whole conversation was recorded while I was on the TIPS line. I received a follow-up call from the CO a couple of days later and told me that he was going to be charged. I had reservations about calling but I am glad I did.......

Always a good idea to have the MNR tips line on your cell. Provide as much information and description as possible. Pictures, boat registration, a recorded conversation or like in this case video evidence. NEVER, put your self in any danger......

I think we're getting a bit ahead of ourselves. This wasn't an ethical sportsman who lets say for the sake of argument practiced c and r and the day came when he decided to keep that one special fish, which there is nothing wrong with. This is someone who happens to be ignorant. Most studies conclude especially in St.Clair that musky feed predominately on shad bullhead sucker and perch. Let the mnr charge him, burn a hole in his pocket and lets go on. I see no value in bringing this mans family into this, we should try to be above that. It's good to be passionate about hunting or fishing and making sure that poachers are charged. I can guarantee you this person is regretting his actions as it is all over all the fishing forums.

It's one thing to judge this person, for an act they committed, captured on film. It's another, and in poor taste to carry on adding things "he probably" does to the mix, and then start insulting family.

Everyone be sure to pass the video link on to as many people as they can. It is good for idiots like this to be exposed. MNR is looking in to this. I have to say good job to the guys who took this video, photos, and confronted these individuals. With video being so common on our phones etc. it is easier for us to pass on evidence and make people aware that it is not true sportsmen that commit these unethical acts.

Came across a posting on another site, word is that the MNR know who this person is and that he will be charged. So chalk one up for the good guys and a pat on the back to the anglers that filmed him.
