What Time Geese taking flight??
Hey guys, hoping you can help me out. I'm just getting back into hunting after 5yrs of baby production and want to get out tonight to scout around. Thing is I'll have 3 kids under 5 with me in the truck (Disney tunes here I come) and so time will be precious. Was hoping someone in the greater London area can tell me when they've seen Geese leaving the roosting ponds for the fields lately. That way I can be in the area I need with minimal down time (and possible crying lol) before the birds take flight. Not an exact science I know but anything will help. Just need this little boost to kick start the waterfowl season.
Thanks in advance!

This can change greatly depending on the weather. So far this year I haven't seen a lot flying in the morning but the ones I have are usually between 7:30 and 8:30 (ish). I've hardly seen any geese at all this year compared to previous years.

Same here...it has been very slow but I think with this colder weather approaching they'll be moving more, lets hope.

In the sarnia area I have been seeing birds going back out in the evening flight on the way home at 4 pm. I have noticed this pretty regular for the last couple weeks

If they are like Air Canada, the 4 pm flight won't even start boarding until close to 7!
Sorry, I had to!

I know I'm not in the same area, but I have been noticing that the geese up here are flying at or well after sunset.
