Has too much time on their hands
Last night's waterfowl hunt..
Went out to do a quick hunt before sunset.. Just picked up a new to me canoe.. Was from the aide of the road with a sign that said "free to good home" so we decided to take the free.one (light) fiberglass over the big huge heavy cedar canoe...
Got out on the water and noticed the canoe started taking on water... As I'm feeling my.ankles starting to get wet, my partner decides to take a shot at a goose... "BANG" the canoe rocks... And the sidewall goes I'm to the water.. Next thing j know I'm lunging for my gun.. As the canoe starts.sinking...
Long story.short.. We get.the canoe back to shore.. But now have no goose.. One less gun case and one less ammo box

At least no one got hurt. Shooting from a canoe can be tricky for sure. Did you return the canoe? I would . lol

Too bad your hunt ended this way. Could have been much worse!

Need a floating gun case
and possibly, a test run before hunting out of it.

guess the sign he had up before didnt have any takers "free canoe to experienced swimmer"
seen one on the side of the road for sale for a $100 the other day, stopped to have a look, but it had a hole the size of a 12 guage slug in the middle, and sides looked pretty week... maybe the one you got... lol
