YUP - Seen a bull on the hwy when I was driving to work on Monday, where I have never seen them before. I take it as a good sign that the males are moving.

Was out narking property lines for a guy near Madawaska today. Walked up on a beauty bull with a cow in tow. He had about 3/4 of an acre of maple saplings trashed. The rut she begins! Too bad i dont get to call one in this year.
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

Same hear, on the Quebec side, bow season opened Saturday morning, 7:45am a couple lads we know downed a 2.5 year old bull. They said "he came in like he was on a string". Pi$$ me off I'm not getting up there for another couple of weeks.
If hunting is a sport, than I'm an athlete.
