It will be an interesting deer hunt this year with my son and a new Browning BPS 12 gauge and myself with the Savage 220 to see who has bragging rights on the biggest buck...lol I know that both of them are more than capable of taking a deer but just the same friendly ribbing at camp is more than likely to occur.

For initial sight in I have a 4-12 red field but that won't stay. Likely an XLT or elite 3-9

Nice gun !! The sst's will work good out of the that gun as my BPS shine's with them with the same 1:28 twist. It'll make 200 yd's no problem.

I had a 212 in my mitts today, I like they way it came to the shoulder. Iron sights would have sealed the deal.

If I hunted in a shotgun zone it is what I would carry.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Angus- mine went back to factory with a broken extractor. No parts in canada or the us. That stopped me cold.

It was a true MOA shooter. You will enjoy it. I have some sabot slugs for you if you want them. They are no good to me.

    Pm me.
