Has too much time on their hands
Really nice buck! That daytime pic will be in the back of your mind all season. Good luck!

I've seen him several times during the day since June - usually about 100 yards away across a field. He seems pretty tolerant of people, but I'm sure his behavior will change soon. My thoughts on bow hunting are that if you want to arrow a deer you've been watching all fall, you've got until about Oct 25th to do it and then everything changes. Planning on taking Thursday/Friday off. I've already shared my info with a couple of guys (brother/nephew) who own the adjacent property - but neither of them has a lot of time available to hunt. This is about 100 yards from the line fence. There is also a spike buck there, but he seems to avoid the cameras - but I do have 1 picture of him when he was still in velvet.
What I do know about the nice bucks I've seen in years past on camera....odds of getting them are really, really low. Still haven't got my first archery deer yet.
