Irish Setter Rutmasters
I just bought the Irish Setter 1200 Rutmasters.
They are amazing boots so far ... going to put them to the test this coming moose and deer seasons.
Got them from Lebaron .... really good deal compared to competitors!
Anyone else have these boots?
Here moosee moosee moosee ...

I have had mine for 3 years with no issues. They have been used every other day during both rifle seasons for moose and deer. I also use them ice fishing and on the ATV. Only reason they are used every other day is that I push the bush and they are never dry the next morning.
(Update edit)Well I just finished the moose hunt and both have nice splits in them. I guess I did get 3 years out of them. On to the next brand.

Reason: new review
You have enemies? Good. That means you stood up for something sometime in your life!

Last weekend I bought a pair of Irish Setter Havoc with 1200 gram insulation. I have never owned a pair of Irish Setters before. They are expensive so they damn well better be good boots. Can't wait for first hunt to test them out.

I've owned 4 pair of Rutmasters now. Tried Rockys and Danners as well, and these are the only boot that will last me 2+ years. Never had a sole or seam problem with any of them. I'm hard on footwear, and these boots have lasted me well. Only drawback for me is they are too warm for anything other than late fall/early spring. Tend have to have hot, sweaty feet at other times. Nice EEE widths, and will hold an orthotic well.

Mine are leaking. They're 2 years old. Worn about 25x's.

Had mine about a year, only leak was because I stepped straight down on a stick. Used Boot Goo and have been great since.

I received a brand new pair after I ended up with chunks of the boots coming off of the top of the foot. I thought it may have been from when I wore them snowmobiling and had my boots under the footrests. I'm going to try and be more careful with this set and try and find some shoe goo to leave at camp.

I bought the same model before going to deer camp last year. Great boots so far. I wore them ice fishing as well. Hopefully they hold up this year as well as last year.
