    Season got off to a great start with some early season training and hunting in Northern Ontario.

    Bosco the 16 month old setter was the go to dog on this trip, he put us on a lot of birds.

    What a crew! looks like a trip for the books, where abouts (general area) where you? don't recognize the land marks.

    Great thread! That setter smile is wonderful. Two of those setters sure look familiar. Are they from "the line"? Who are their parents?

    I had the pleasure of meeting Bosco recently, he's Jackson's son (I may have misspelled his official name...)

    Thanks for the comments,

    @TurkeyRookie: Aspen cuts and tag alder bottoms West of Sudbury. We covered a lot of ground to help bring out the best in all the dogs.

    @Red setter comments: He's definitely a character in the house or field.

    @Sharon: The two dogs closest to the camera on the driver side, and the female closest to the camera on the passenger side are from "the line." They are Tessa's great grandkids, out of the late Spitfire's Jack and a Long Gone Nixon beeatch.
