Hunting ride
Traded my ML320 for a 2014 F150 5L/ V8 xtr - I just added 5 years to my life - WHAT A SWEET RIDE!!!! Can't wait to take it out on it's "first hunt"!

congrats! bought my wife the 2014 supercrew fx4 fully decked out, I will not be bringing it hunting until she puts the first scratch on it lol

we have a brand new f150 with the 5 l as well and are getting 13.5 l per 100k .I do love that 5 l moter works great pulling the boat Dutch

Well it seems I found the brains club... I mean ford that is!! Glad you guys are enjoying the F150s! ! I'm a service manager for a Ford dealer and wouldn't trade me for anything!! Enjoy fellas and good luck in the bush!

my wifes f150 is a 2008 with the 4.6 and I find it a little lazy ,now the new 5;iter I just love seems to get better fuel milage then the smaller motor

The fuel mileage has come a long ways for sure. I have my 09 with the 5.4L and the fuel mileage was good as long as it was highway. then when the warranty expired I put in a bully dog fuel and performance programmer and it got even better. It has a 132L tank in it and I'm not getting roughly mid 10s on the higheay (no load or trailer) approx 1100 km a tank.
The new ecoboost takes the cake with regards to fuel economy though. and lots of power for towing

next one for me might be the new dodge eco diesel thy are claming 7 liters per 100 k .I will just wait a year or so to see if thy have the bugs worked out ,but I really like the idea of a light duty diesel Dutch

I also like the thought of the light duty diesel. Ford is also exploring that direction. However I'm hard pressed to believe they can get the same mileage as my new focus lol. kudos to them if they can
