Very nice. The more I see posts like this the more I think I have to get a dog.

Great photo's and sounds like he is holding up his end of the deal, time to hit the trap range
My Lab gives me "the look" when shots are ringing out and she isn't being released.

Great Pictures ! I cannot believe how many hunters come out to hunt pheasants without a dog . It is almost impossible to get the birds up without a dog . Pointer or flusher don't waste money on a paid hunt without a dog.

Kickingfrog - there was a period in between the loss of Hunter and before Titan was ready to hunt where I was dogless in the bush - didn't enjoy it. I actually prefer to be the dog wrangler and don't require shooting anything to consider it a good day, I enjoy watching and controlling the dog work.
Wood Witch - I would like to put Titan on pheasants, I know that is something he would immensely love. The way he attacks the bush with such vigor and tenacity, he would be great on them.

Awesome, nothing like seeing a young dog put it together on grouse.

Excellent report and pictures.
I hope my dog gets me a wild bird soon. At 15 months, he seems to be a "natural" so far.
He was successful in pointing - and retrieving - a released pheasant two weeks ago.
