Yah can't fix stupid.
Went out bow hunting this afternoon heard somebody shooting 22 on other side of bush seen them drive back windmill lane way across from stand. Saw them drive away so I thought good deer still might come out since there is shooting light. About 15 min later seen 6 hens behind me and roost about 75yards away. Well I heard something in bush behind me but nothing showed. It was dark almost ready to climb down when all of a sudden there was two blast right behind me from a shotgun. Some stupid idiot or idiots shot the turkeys from their roost. I Climb down went to truck and went looking for them. They must have gotten dropped off. They knew I was in there cause they drove past my truck that was sitting in the field. Can't Fix Stupid!!!!!

Call for help next time. Stupid enough to shoot roosted turkeys in the dark - stupid enough to do something else stupid.

I can't believe some people. I am so pissed. People like that give us honest hunters a bad name. They turned towards my home town when they left the first time so somebody will spill the beans and I will find out who it was. Only a matter of time.

Unless it was trespassing or he/they knew you were there and shot in your direction or past legal shooting time..... they didn't anything illegal.... Shooting roosting birds with even a minute of legal light left is still legal....it may not feel/be right but still legal...
Just saying....
Its too bad your hunt got ruined though...

It was dark there was no shooting light. And far as I know only one other person has permission and it wasn't him. They knew I was somewhere back there cause they drove past my truck on front side of bush. It isn't even close to being right you know a guy is back there you simply don't hunt in there. It's smaller bush. I could have been anywhere in there and he wouldn't have been able to see me it was dark when it happened

My bad.... I guess I mistook your post, I thought since you were about to get off your stand there still was some legal shooting time left... I never said it was right....

How dark it is, is not the question (unless considering safety). Was there legal time left? That's the legality.
Definitely sucks though!

Report it. Nothing may come of it but it's the right thing to do.
