Good day folks! Has anyone had any success with grouse or pheasant in Swift Rapids (just outside Orillia)?

I was there last week and was tripping over hunters! No grouse seen or heard but in three hours I saw atleast 20 hunters. :-(
what use to be an okay spot has been ruined IMO by too many hunters and way too many ATV /dirt bike riders.

That's too bad. I haven't been in about 6 years and it was Ok at that time. Seems like it got busy....

Was thinking of doing some deer hunting up that way. Wasn't expecting a lot of hunters there until the controlled hunt. Maybe will rethink or go deeper into the bush...

Well... we're giving it go today and hope for the best. Been out there many times to camp so we'll roll the dice and hope for the best. Worst case scenario, we get a long walk in
