    Default I shot my first squirrel today

    I finally shot my first squirrel today. So I went to a local crownland area and as im walking back toward the main entrance area i hear some movement to my left i look I see one squirrel I make sure everything beyond him is safe to shoot which it was so i get ready and then all a sudden it runs which was ok it went to another close tree but then a bigger squirrel comes close i take aim and shoot and blam then i try to find the other squirrel that ran away but it was long gone lol any ways i will be having this squirrel dinner tonight

    Congratulations! I used to love squirrel hunting. There isn't a huntable population in this area. Enjoy that dinner!

    Wont be long Pete. There are greys hanging around in places they simply shouldnt be. I think some came up with the cottagers to a local lake as the surrounding hardwoods are full of them.
    How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

    I love squirrel. To me it tastes just like rabbit, only way more plentiful!

    I thought it tasted like chicken maybe the spices i used lol .. And yea I do see lots of squirrels but when ever I usually go out for a hunt there is none around i guess they know when they see a hunter lol
