Who are the provinces best breeders of Chocolate Labs? Looking for a good all around hunting dog.

Good chocs are hard to come by in Ontario. I drove to Ohio to get my pup and would do it again in a heartbeat! Sharon is bang on with those 2 forums. I actually found mine on the Retriever Training Forum, tons of great breedings posted on there. Best of luck in your search!

Don't look at breeders. Usually the ones producing multiple chico litters every year are the worst.
Find a great black sire that throws chocolate, and a female choco with hunt test accomplishments or field trial.
Look for the titles in the first 3 generations.
One that comes to mind is High Tech CEO.
Ten Bears Road Trip, Pinehurst All that Jazz etc.
Get to know what Choco dogs are showing talent.
Visit Retriever training forum and do some snooping.
