    neat to watch just how long the delay is....

    note: it says "there's a 0.08 second delay between hammer drop and the gun going off"

    The 1st few times I fired a flintlock I flinched. Took some time to get used to that flash and delay.

    I still do if I haven't shot it in a while. lol

    I would think modern in-lines lock time would be measured in 1000ths of a second vice 100's for the flinter and percussion. You really have to hold your sight picture through the whole procedure to ensure you hit what you're aiming at. Even percussion is no where the same as a flintlock. They're a whole new kettle of fish but they do work!
