Yeah, I put that in there for my friends who hum the "Indiana Jones" theme whenever I wear it. Was hunting by myself and had a blaze jacket so figured I was safe.

Nice shooting. 2 hrs north of Woodstock ... still plenty of birds to trickle down I think.

We raised about 15 over the weekend near Penetang. shot 2. i know, i know, not that great. We hunted once at dusk when we saw most of them and they were very skittish. they were jumping well ahead of us. maybe someone had been there earlier and the birds were just a bit skittish. We hunt an area with a lot of mushroom pickers. forget about ever shooting a grouse where we are, they are so used to hearing people in the bush, they fly away when your approaching at 50 yards, dog or no dog. back at it this weekend.
