    Default Couple of lost dogs?

Out in Northumberland forest deer hunting today. Came across 2 dogs that looked rather weathered and just wandering around. One was a red and white setter breed or possibly a brittany pointer type breed?, the other was all black about the same size. (16" Maybe?) They seemed to be roaming on their own. I called out a few times "Hello! Your dogs are here!!", but no one responded. The black dog came to me with a bit of coaxing, but the setter would not come close. No tags or identification on the collar. Could not see any tags on the setter. If anyone knows of these dogs - please advise the owners they were seen travelling East on the power lines near Jacobi Rd (right near Moore Road). They seemed content on moving East so maybe they knew where they were going, but thought I would post.

I spent the $15.00?? to have a custom name tag made for my beagles collar that rivets on with his name, address, and phone number (Had this done at Pet Smart). He has been returned home 4 times now based on this tag alone. (Dam Beagles!!!) Cheap investment for your pet. If these dogs had this (or any) type of tag - I would have called or followed up.

Hope they make it home safe.

Good for you for trying. I know what " no tags" often means, but I hope the dogs get help.
