    Default Drop away rest

I got in my NAP Apache Micro. Looking through the various ways too attach the cable to the downward buss.
I wanted too see what the pros and cons were with the way you have your drop aways set up.
I have seen "football clips", reverse D loop, and countless ways too serve it into the string. At this very moment Iam thinking Serving it into the string will be the best choice, my reasons, and please correct me if Iam wrong.
Having a semi permanent attachment will prevent/reduce the odds of lossening up as opoosed to cliping, using a d loop (?) opens up two places for failure, also this method would/coiuld provide the optimum connection for proper and accurate timing?
    Thank you

First question is how old is your string?
If its a new string and hasn't fully stretched yet I like the football clamp
once the string has been shot at least 100 times I serve mine in and get rid of the football clamp
