    Default DIY Heat for POPUP

Saw this on u-tube somewhere and thought I would try it.
Coffee can roll of toilet paper and pure alcohol .
I used a small coffee can and put the toilet paper in it the poured in the alcohol till it was fully saturated, drained of the excess.
Lite it up and you will be warm and toasty in you blind this winter.
I tried mine this week and it worked great Lasted about 6 hours, no fumes or smoke.
Try it a home firs to burn off any varnish or paint, the bottom does not get hot .
There is the smell of alcohol when you put it out. I use a book to place on top to extinguish the flame, then wait for the top to cool and put the plastic lid from the coffee can on after it cools about a minute.
    Small compact, cheap and reusable.

What size of coffee can? I love to be outside hunting and fishing all winter, but for whatever reason I can't stay warm and comfortable. I was thinking about using a buddy heater in my popup this year, but this coffee can idea seems good too!

I used stove alcohol from cdn tire and it burned for 4 hours then I put it out and used the same one the next day for 3 more hours . I will replace the toilet paper now and use it again next time out.

Back in the day, we did the same thing. We used the metal tobacco tins. They fit the roll or arse wipe perfect.
