Hey Pete...I was pleased to find the 3Fg at that price....I wanted to compare it to the 2Fg Goex I picked up last year at the gun show. See if the results from the finer powder is that noticeable at 50yds with the .45.
I also noticed a plethora of porcupines while out hunting deer....I think the .45 and I will have to go out and reduce that population some while the weather is still agreeable

I don't know if you caught it on another thread, I had a porky crawl up the tree next to me while I was out hunting..he hunkered down and took a nap 4' from me. I had to laugh..I could even hear him snoring..didn't have the heart to shot him

Nice pickup
Mike seems to know where every auction is, where all the good stuff is and when.
I have been paying attention to the paper but hunting has filled my weekends the past little while.

Mikepal I like the fff in my 45. They say to reduce the load by 10%.

Yea that's what I read too....if your using 70 gr load of 2fg drop it to 55 for 3Fg...so, not only does it burn cleaner, higher velocity, but also saves you some powder with each load..
I was able to buy 3 types ( 1Fg thru 3Fg) of the Goex powders this year....I'll have to spend a week next spring trying them out and see how they perform in my .45 Kentucky.

Yes, I saw that. Hilarious! Once, when I had a ground blind under an apple tree, a porky sat above my head eating apples and raining down debris on me.
