Hopefully Matt it's short lived and we get a Nov thaw. Still a good days haul even though the weather sucks...

Good haul Matt, maybe we will see some better weather again before the final onset. Hope you have a good, warm thawing/skinning shed. lol

Considering the adverse conditions I'd say you did pretty good.
I got a real surprise when I fired up my work truck this morning. I thought the thermometer was broke when it showed -16. It was the first time this year I saw some snotcicles starting to form. Not a good sign 😖
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

This weather has pretty much shut me down. Snow is almost too deep for the ATV now. I waited too long to set my 220s for coon and fisher. Usually start the week after the deer hunt, since the bears will destroy all my cubbies if i set sooner. Now it's too late - coon are all denned-up. I'll prob. have to dig the snow machine out if I want to get my fisher. Ground is frozen now for footholds. Ten times the work now for rats.

Has too much time on their hands
the snow is always deepest were you need to walk or drive .just the way it is .nice haul matt .Dutch
