Let me say this weather sucks , making a living dealing with this weather has sucked all year , but I'm still plugging away 54 muskrats 2 beaver and a coon today , as the pics show snow and ice is not my friend lol

Hopefully Matt it's short lived and we get a Nov thaw. Still a good days haul even though the weather sucks...

Good haul Matt, maybe we will see some better weather again before the final onset. Hope you have a good, warm thawing/skinning shed. lol

I keep telling my wife, "the snow will melt", "it's not winter yet". Let's hope for that!

Considering the adverse conditions I'd say you did pretty good.

I got a real surprise when I fired up my work truck this morning. I thought the thermometer was broke when it showed -16. It was the first time this year I saw some snotcicles starting to form. Not a good sign 😖
How is it one careless cigarette can cause a forest fire, but it takes a whole box of matches to light a campfire?

This weather has pretty much shut me down. Snow is almost too deep for the ATV now. I waited too long to set my 220s for coon and fisher. Usually start the week after the deer hunt, since the bears will destroy all my cubbies if i set sooner. Now it's too late - coon are all denned-up. I'll prob. have to dig the snow machine out if I want to get my fisher. Ground is frozen now for footholds. Ten times the work now for rats.
